The Role
We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join our fully remote team in Nuremberg, Germany. This role comes with full visa sponsorship and relocation support to Germany.

Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop robust backend services and RESTful APIs
- Optimize database queries and system performance for high-traffic applications
- Implement microservices architecture and event-driven systems
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response procedures
Requirements
- 3-5 years of professional experience in backend developer or a similar role
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring, AWS and related technologies
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field
- Excellent communication skills in English (German language skills are a plus but not required)
- Experience working in agile development teams with CI/CD practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, internationally diverse team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
