The Role
Develop BMS software for state-of-the-art electric vehicles, working on cell monitoring, state estimation, and thermal management algorithms.
This position is open to international candidates. We provide full visa sponsorship, EU Blue Card support, and a comprehensive relocation package including flight reimbursement, temporary accommodation, and administrative assistance with German registration (Anmeldung) and bank account setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop BMS software for state-of-charge and state-of-health estimation.
- Design cell balancing and thermal management algorithms.
- Implement battery safety monitoring and fault detection.
- Validate BMS algorithms through simulation and vehicle testing.
- Collaborate with cell chemistry and pack design teams.
Requirements
- 2+ years BMS development experience.
- Knowledge of lithium-ion battery electrochemistry.
- Experience with SOC/SOH estimation algorithms.
- Strong MATLAB/Simulink or Python skills.
- Master's degree in Electrical or Electrochemical Engineering.
