Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js/Go)

N26 is Europe's first Mobile Bank with a full European banking license. We are redesigning banking for the 21st century.

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build scalable microservices that power our core banking platform. You will work in an international, English-speaking team.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable microservices in Node.js and Go.
• Optimize database queries and ensure high availability.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive architectural decisions.

• 5+ years of experience in backend development.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and microservices.
• Fluent English; no German required.
